Who We Are
ByteSize Solutions is a software, AI, and growth engineering studio based in Staten Island, New York, serving clients worldwide. This policy covers bytesizesolutions.dev and the demo and client sites we host on its subdomains. It explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information You Give Us
When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, your message, and a phone number if you choose to provide one. When you book a call, scheduling is handled by Cal.com and includes your name, email, and any details you add to the booking. If you submit a lead form on a demo or client site we host, your submission is emailed to the relevant business and/or to us.
Information Collected Automatically
We use Sentry for error monitoring. It collects technical information such as browser type, operating system, IP address, and the page you were on when something breaks. A small sample of visits (roughly 5%, plus sessions where an error occurs) may be recorded as a debugging replay with all text and input fields masked. Standard server logs also record requests to keep the site secure and available.
Cookies & Analytics
Analytics run only with your consent. If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we load self-hosted Umami (page traffic, on our own infrastructure) and Microsoft Clarity (session behavior insights). If you choose Reject non-essential, neither loads — the only thing stored is your consent choice itself, kept in your browser's local storage. We use no advertising cookies or ad networks, and we never sell or share your personal information for advertising.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to inquiries, schedule and run calls, deliver the services you engage us for, send the transactional emails you would expect (booking and inquiry confirmations), keep the site secure, fix errors, and — with your consent — understand how the site is used. We only send emails related to your inquiry or booking.
Service Providers
We share personal information only with the providers that run parts of the service: SendGrid delivers our email (contact form notifications and confirmations), Cal.com handles scheduling, Sentry provides error monitoring, and Microsoft Clarity provides consent-based analytics. Each operates under its own privacy policy, and we do not allow them to use your data for their own marketing.
Data Security
All traffic to our site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We keep the personal data we handle to a minimum, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it.
Data Retention
We keep contact and lead inquiries as ordinary business correspondence for as long as we may need to follow up, and no longer than necessary. Error monitoring data expires automatically after roughly 90 days. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see Your Rights below.
Where Your Data Is Processed
We are a United States business and our systems are hosted in the US. If you visit from the EU, UK, or elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. For visitors covered by GDPR, our lawful bases are: performing a contract or responding to your request, your consent (analytics), and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site.
Your Rights
Wherever you live, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, object to how it is processed, or withdraw analytics consent at any time (choose Reject on the cookie banner or clear your browser's site data). Contact us and we will respond within 30 days. We never discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
Children
Our site and services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will post the update here and revise the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be called out clearly.
